Kadaba/Bantwal, Jan 3: Pradeep, a patrol vehicle driver at Kadaba police station, achieved a remarkable milestone by studying for the PSI exam during his free time on a mobile phone, without any coaching, and successfully passing the examination.

Similarly, Muttappa, a staff member from Bantwal police station, also cleared the PSI examination. Both Pradeep and Muttappa initially passed the exam in 2021, with Pradeep securing an impressive 13th rank in Karnataka. However, their recruitment was cancelled due to allegations of irregularities in the examination process. Undeterred, the two retook the exam and cleared it once again through sheer perseverance.

Pradeep, a native of Avinamarana village in Holenarasipura, Hassan district, is the second of three children. He credits his wife for motivating him to pursue the examination.

Muttappa hails from Soolebavi village in Hunagunda taluk of Bagalkot district. He is the fifth son of a daily wage laborer couple, highlighting his inspiring journey from humble beginnings to professional success.

The achievements of Pradeep and Muttappa underscore their determination and commitment to advancing their careers despite challenges.
