Mangaluru: College bus crashes into five vehicles in Ullal

Mangaluru, Mar 17: A college bus carrying students collided with a car and three two-wheelers at Thiblapadavu in the jurisdiction of Konaje police station on Monday, March 17 evening.

The bus, which was traveling from Inoli towards Mangaluru, lost control near Thiblapadavu and rammed into vehicles parked along the roadside. Fortunately, there were no occupants in the parked vehicles at the time, preventing any major casualties.

Earlier, a bike had skidded near Thiblapadavu, injuring the rider, who was subsequently taken to the hospital. Onlookers had gathered at the accident site, parking their vehicles along the roadside when the bus lost control, leading to the chain collision involving a car and two motorcycles.

Mangaluru South Traffic police arrived at the scene and have begun an investigation.
