KMC Mangaluru hosts first alumni meet 'Anubhuthi 2025' for medical gastroenterology dept

Mangaluru, Mar 29: The department of gastroenterology; KMC Mangaluru recently organised their first alumni meet 'Anubhuthi 2025'.

KMC Mangaluru is the only medical college in coastal Karnataka providing supersepciality DNB course in medical gastroenterology accredited by the National Board of India. KMC started this course way back in 2013 which has been recognised all over the country with many students coming here for the course from across the country.

To commemorate the 12 years of starting DNB in medical gastroenterology, an alumni meet was organised recently with all the alumni from India and abroad getting together at Mangaluru. Dr Dilip naik (Pro VC, MAHE-Mangaluru campus), Dr Anand Venugopal (CEO, teaching hospitals, MAHE), Dr Unnikrishnan (dean KMC Mangaluru), and Saghir Siddiqui (regional COO, KMC Hospital) graced the occasion and declared the meeting open by lighting of lamps in the presence of Dr B V Tantry (HOD gastroenterology).
