Mangaluru: St Agnes College hosts farewell for 2022-25 batch

Mangaluru, Apr 13: St Agnes College (Autonomous), bid a heartfelt farewell to the outgoing batch of 2022-25 in a grand ceremony held at the college auditorium on April 12.

The event was a vibrant blend of gratitude, nostalgia, and celebration as students, faculty, and staff came together to mark the culmination of the academic journey of the final-year students.

Principal Sr Dr M Venissa AC appreciated the contributions of the graduating batch, acknowledging their active participation in both curricular and extracurricular activities. She commended their enthusiasm, leadership and the positive spirit they brought to the campus.

Teaching and non-teaching were praised for their unwavering support and encouragement, which played a key role in shaping the student's academic and personal growth.

The ceremony was graced by PG coordinator Sr Dr M Vinora AC, vice principal Sr Roopa Rodrigues, registrar, dean's of various streams, heads of departments, and faculty members, who extended their blessings and conveyed heartfelt wishes for the students' future endeavors.

The event was coordinated by the departments of history, economics, and journalism. Thanmayee Bhatt took the stage as the emcee for the event. Serena delivered the welcome address, and the vote of thanks was proposed by Samantha. The programme included reading from the scriptures, farewell speech by the graduating student leaders, and a thought provoking skit. The formal programme concluded with a lively cultural performance that added a festive touch to the occasion.
