Mangaluru, Apr 23: Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil, is all set to host a two-day insightful seminar series titled "Trenova" organised by the Srinivas School of Architecture, featuring prominent architects known for their sustainable design philosophies and impactful contributions to eco-conscious architecture.

On April 24, the spotlight will be on Ar Nilam K Manjunath, founder and CEO of the Centre for Green Building Materials and Technology (CGBMT), Bengaluru.

An architect, planner, and climate advocate with a career spanning over three decades, Ar Manjunath is internationally acclaimed for her expertise in bamboo architecture and low-energy material innovations. With academic training from institutions like Harvard Graduate School of Design, she integrates tradition with modernity to craft sustainable, culturally rooted spaces.

The series continues on April 25 with a seminar by Ar Sharath R Nayak, director at Biome Environmental Solutions, Bangaluru. With rich academic exposure and global design experiences, Ar Nayak is known for his deep commitment to ecological design and material sensitivity. His award-winning projects like The Atelier School have redefined the approach to environmental architecture in India. His session promises to inspire students through case studies and personal insights into building green futures.

The event will be graced by Dr Shrinivasa Mayya D, principal; Ar Vasudev N Shet, HoD; and Ar Kumarchandra, dean, alongside faculty, students, and architecture enthusiasts.

Trenova aims to ignite a deeper understanding of sustainability in architecture and foster a spirit of innovation among budding architects.
