Mumbai, Apr 24: Chartbuster rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh is back in the limelight with his latest track Money, Money, a promotional song for the upcoming film Raid 2. At a recent media interaction, Singh opened up about his admiration for lead actor Ajay Devgn and the lessons he has learned from the Bollywood veteran.

Singh, who earlier collaborated with Devgn on the hit number Ata Maazi Satakli from Singham Returns, recalled a memorable moment from that shoot. “I had reached the set four hours late, but Ajay sir was so calm and composed. He didn’t say a word in anger. He just spent 10-15 minutes talking to me. That moment made me respect him even more,” said Singh.

The rapper revealed that he has worked on improving his work ethic since then. “I’ve rectified many of my mistakes over time. I’ve learned a lot from legends like Ajay sir. He has been in the industry for over 35 years — that kind of consistency teaches you something. This time, I made sure I arrived on time for the shoot of Money, Money,” he added.

Ajay Devgn, who reprises his role as IRS officer Amay Patnaik in the Rajkumar Gupta-directed sequel to the 2018 hit Raid, lauded Singh’s effort. “Honey did a fantastic job. It’s a mind-blowing song. He’s the OG,” Devgn said at the promotional event.

T-Series head honcho Bhushan Kumar, also present at the event, shared that he had urged Singh to create a track reminiscent of the energy and appeal of his earlier hit Lungi Dance from Chennai Express. “We wanted a song in that zone, and Honey delivered just what we needed,” Kumar said.

With Money, Money already generating buzz, fans are eagerly waiting for Raid 2, which promises high-octane drama and another powerful performance by Devgn.
