Mumbai, Jun 14: In a heartfelt and environmentally conscious tribute, actress Maanvi Gagroo marked this year’s Father’s Day by dedicating 100 trees to her father, S.K. Gagroo. Taking to Instagram, the Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan star shared her unique gift and expressed her gratitude for the values her father instilled in her.

"This Father’s Day, I dedicated 100 trees to my father, S. K. Gagroo, for raising us with the strength and grounding to weather any and all storms, while simultaneously instilling in us the power of giving back to the people, the country, and the community," she wrote. The trees were planted through the @growtrees_global platform under their initiative ‘Trees for EcoTourism™’ in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand. Maanvi accompanied the post with a joyful photo alongside her father.

Professionally, Maanvi was last seen playing Dr. Riya in the second season of the web series Half Love Half Arranged. Reflecting on her character’s journey, she noted how this season brings more emotional depth as Riya grapples with tough choices that challenge and transform her. The show stars Karan Wahi and Rithvikk Dhanjani and revolves around a nuanced love triangle.

Known for her standout performances in acclaimed web series like TVF Pitchers, TVF Tripling, Made in Heaven, and Four More Shots Please!, Maanvi has also made her mark in films. In 2019, she played Apsara, a confident plus-size woman, in the comedy Ujda Chaman opposite Sunny Singh. She later appeared alongside Ayushmann Khurrana in Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, a film that tackled social themes with humor and heart.

Through her Father's Day gesture, Maanvi once again showcased her thoughtful nature—offering a gift that not only honors her father but also contributes to the environment.
