Mumbai, Feb 1: They say nothing is permanent in Bollywood. Not even so-called rivalries. And the talk-of-the-town, the reported thrashing Shirish Kunder recieved from his wife Farah's once best friend Shahrukh Khan, certainly proves it.
As per reliable sources, the Shahrukh, Farah and Shirish have made up and are friends again. The truce was reportedly brokered by Farah's brother Sajid Khan along with Sajid Nadiadwala, who spoke to both parties and arranged a 'reunion' at SRK's house 'Mannat.'
Confirming that he had called SRK's wife Gauri to let Farah come to Mannat, Sajid Khan said, "Gauri told me Farah doesn't need to ask permission for it. In the meantime, Sajid (Nadiadwala) called up Shirish and Farah."
"Neither Shirish and Farah nor Shahrukh had any issues. In fact, they agreed to meet each other within 10 seconds," says Sajid.
They even had lunch together at Mannat, and according to Sajid Khan, everything was back to normal, with no sign of enmity or grudge. "Every family has ups and downs. So, our family too went through it. All credit to Gauri and Nadiadwala for helping out," he said.
But it was not just lunch - the former good friends are even said to have hugged each other and made it up, amidst tears of joy at being back together again.
Shirish, who had been on the receiving end of SRK's anger, said they had only emerged stronger after the incident. "No one knows what actually happened. All are giving their own versions of the story. Such things happen in parties. We were drunk and high and so we got into arguments," he said.
He was quick to add, "We sorted out things as they were getting bitter and hundreds of baseless things were being written about us in the media."
Farah, happy that "the entertainment is finally over," adds, "It's always nice to read such stories like fun gossip but only those who are going through it understand the gravity."
On what took place at Mannat, she said, "It's like nothing had happened between us. And it was great to meet Gauri. She was also quite unhappy about everything and wanted this meeting to happen. We have made a pact that from now, we won't comment on the matter and whatever has been said in the media stands null-and-void."
