Buntara Sangha Kuwait to host ‘Buntayana – 2025’ on Nov 21

Kuwait, Nov 18: Buntara Sangha Kuwait is gearing up to host its flagship cultural extravaganza Buntayana – 2025 on Friday, November 21 at the Indian Central School Auditorium, Abbasiya. The annual event, known for celebrating the vibrant heritage of the Bunt community, will begin at 3.30 pm.

According to the organisers, Buntayana – 2025 aims to bring together members of the Bunt community residing in Kuwait and strengthen cultural ties through traditional performances, fellowship, and artistic showcases.

Gurme Suresh Shetty, MLA from Kapu constituency in Karnataka, will grace the event as chief guest. Naveen Shetty Iruvail, president of Buntara Sangha Qatar, will be the guest of honour.

A major highlight of the programme is a comedy performance by Team Telikeda Tenali, led by Udupi district Rajyotsava award winner and film actor Sunil Nelligudde, widely recognised for his performances in Bale Telipale, Majaabharatha, and the V4 Comedy Premier League. The troupe will present their popular act Telikeda Bas, marking their 558th show in the Comedy 90 series.

In addition to the headline act, Buntayana – 2025 will feature a variety of in-house cultural performances by members of Buntara Sangha Kuwait, offering an evening of entertainment and showcasing local talent.

The organisers have extended an open invitation to the Bunt community and well-wishers to attend the celebration and make the event a memorable showcase of unity, tradition, and cultural pride.
