Daijiworld Media Network – Karkala (JD)

Karkala, Nov 27: A 17-year-old student, identified as Angel Alon James, passed away after a sudden deterioration in her health on Thursday, November 27 morning.

Angel, a resident of Mudradi and a first-year PU Science student of a private college in Karkala, was at home on November 26 as the institution had declared a holiday owing to the annual feast at the local church.

While at home, Angel reportedly developed sudden health complications. Her parents immediately took her to Hebri Hospital, where doctors administered an injection. After returning home, her condition worsened, prompting her family to rush her back to Hebri Government Hospital. She was later shifted to Manipal Hospital for further treatment.

Despite efforts by the medical team, Angel breathed her last in the early hours of Thursday.

Angel was the only daughter of Jacob and Mary Beena and was known for her academic excellence. The incident has left her family, classmates and the local community in deep shock.

Sad to hear this young girl is o more.May her soul rest in peace. But fact is noone diagnosed what was the cause of sudden death .Doctors gave injection and sent home ?instead of a check up?Again they sent on tour?to other hospital instead of giving oxygen first and stabilize her breathing and send later other hospital? No blood test?Absolute negligence .Heartfelt sympathies to family. One should be a rich person to treat well in hospital?Poor girl.Wish to know what was the injection and for what?

This type of (frequent) incidents especially among young generation is a new phenomenon which needs thorough research without further delay. It's a matter of concern and anxiety for parents too. R.I.P.
