Karkala: Tree falls on auto, driver sustains head injury

Karkala, Dec 5:
A tree fell on an auto near the Raghavendra Math on Tellaru Road, leaving the driver with a serious head injury.

The incident occurred during recent rain accompanied by winds in the region.

A branch that snapped off the tree also brought down an electricity line and an electric pole. Three women passengers travelling in the auto sustained minor injuries and were treated at a local hospital.

Following the incident, movement of heavy vehicles and buses between Karkala, Tellaru, and Mundle was disrupted.

    Wish the driver may get well soon.Usually panchayat people should see that tree branches stretching on street should cut off so that either people or animals etc may not get hurt harm.even electro wires may not fall off .
