Udupi: M11 Energy renovates Palimar school, boosts healthcare through CSR

Udupi, Dec 8: M11 Energy Transition Pvt Ltd, a sustainable biodiesel and clean energy producer operating from its Padubidri facility, reaffirmed its commitment to community development through a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative held at Palimar Panchayat Primary School. The programme included the inauguration of the renovated school campus and the distribution of sports kits worth Rs 20,000.

The event was attended by Palimar panchayat vice president Rayeshwayer Pai, SDMC president Sulatha, panchayat member Sathish Devadaga, civil contractor Vadiraja Acharya, M11 Energy Transition Pvt Ltd director Raman Chopra, Mahadeshwara Bajana Mandira president Ramesh, terminal manager Madhu S Rai, headmistress Shashikala, teachers, students and members of the media.

The guests, accompanied by teachers and journalists, toured the school premises to inspect the renovation work. The project, valued at Rs 6 lac, has upgraded classrooms, learning spaces and student facilities, providing a safer and more supportive environment.

During the stage programme, the master of ceremony welcomed the dignitaries, who were presented with potted plants as eco-friendly tokens of appreciation. The dignitaries later took part in the traditional lamp-lighting ceremony.

Rajat from M11 Energy Transition Pvt Ltd outlined the company’s CSR vision, stressing its continued focus on health and education for students and underprivileged families. He said the company aims to uplift communities around its operational areas through sustained support.

Several speakers appreciated the company’s community-oriented work, commending its efforts to improve rural education and healthcare. They described the renovation and donations as meaningful contributions to the region.

As part of the CSR initiative, the company handed over sports kits worth Rs 20,000 to encourage physical activity among students, new tables and cupboards for classroom use, blood test equipment to the Primary Health Centre, and a cheque for Rs 50,000 to Mahadeshwara Bajana Mandira for its renovation and activities.

A representative of the school proposed the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, the M11 team, teachers, parents and the media for supporting the event. The programme concluded with the distribution of snacks to students, guests and attendees.
