Mangaluru, Dec 11: St Agnes College (Autonomous), is set to host an extraordinary event as its student, Sushravya U, prepares for an official attempt to secure an entry into the Golden Book of World Records.
Sushravya, a dedicated second-year BSc student, will undertake the monumental challenge of performing a 12-hour continuous dance on roller skates. This unprecedented endurance feat, scheduled for Friday, December 12, will commence precisely at 8 am and conclude at 8 pm. The performance, titled ‘Wheels of Willpower’, will take place in the Avila Hall at St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru.

Born on February 28, 2005, in Chilimbi, Sushravya is the cherished daughter of Uday Kumar U and Shashirekha.
The performance will feature a demanding fusion of classical and semi-classical dance forms, highlighting Sushravya’s commitment to merging the aesthetic grace of traditional dance with the precision and physical endurance required for artistic skating.
A multi-talented performer, she began her training in Bharatnatyam at the age of six and has been a competitive skater for the past fourteen years. Her impressive background includes securing multiple awards in district and state-level championships. Notably, she has achieved excellence at the national level, earning two gold medals and two silver medals at the Vidyabharati National Level Competition, leading to her selection for the School Games Federation of India (SGFI).
