Golden girl Jesnia Correa wins double gold again at National Roller-Skating Championship 2025

Mangaluru, Dec 13: Mount Carmel Central School, Mangaluru is delighted to announce yet another remarkable sporting feat by its grade IX student, Jesnia Correa, who secured two gold medals at the National Roller-Skating Championship 2025.

Jesnia delivered an impressive performance in the under-17 category by clinching two gold medals in the 500m rink race and lap road race. She represented Karnataka at the championship, which was conducted at Vishakapattanam, Andhra Pradesh from November 9 to 12. Her remarkable control, speed, and competitive spirit enabled her to outperform her rivals and stand at the top of the podium, bringing honour to her school, parents and coaches.

This latest triumph further strengthens Jesnia’s growing reputation in roller skating. Just last month, she won a gold medal in 500 m rink race in the CBSE national skating competition held at Haryana. Her journey has been marked by consistent success at state and national levels, reflecting years of perseverance, hard work, and commitment to the sport.

Jesnia draws constant encouragement from her parents, Jerome and Pritha Correa of Bejai, who have played a vital role in nurturing her passion for skating. She undergoes professional training at the Hi Flyers Skating Club, Skate City, Ashoknagar, under the expert guidance of coaches Mohan, Prateek Raja, Ramanand, and Kumar.
