Udupi, Dec 16: A one-and-a-half-year-old girl died after she accidentally fell into a well at Kinnimulki in Udupi.

The incident occurred when the child’s mother was drawing water from a well near their house while holding the baby.

During this time, the child reportedly slipped from her arms and fell into the well. The mother immediately climbed down into the well with the help of a rope and rescued the child. However, the baby had already died by then.

May be the situation was demanding the mother to hold the baby and draw water. Heart wrenching situation but mothers love for baby and her courage to step down to rescue her child is unparallel by any measures. R.I.P.
