St Agnes College YRC unit wins third Best Performing award at National Youth Day celebration

Mangaluru, Jan 13: The Indian Red Cross Society and Youth Red Cross, Dakshina Kannada district branch, Mangaluru, organised the National Youth Day celebration – 2026 on January 12 at Prerana Auditorium, Indian Red Cross Society, Mangaluru.

On the occasion, the Youth Red Cross (YRC) unit of St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru, was honoured with the Third Best Performing YRC Unit Award – 2025 in recognition of its consistent and impactful service-oriented activities throughout the academic year.

In another achievement, Prajwal Rao, assistant professor, department of Microbiology, was conferred the Best YRC Programme Officer Award – 2025 for her exemplary leadership, dedicated service, and commitment to inculcating humanitarian values among students.

The recognition stands testimony to the collective efforts of the programme officer and YRC volunteers in organising and participating in various community service and awareness initiatives.

The awards have further motivated the YRC unit to continue its mission of service, leadership, and social responsibility with renewed enthusiasm.
