It has been officially confirmed that Jayaprakash Shetty, who has worked with famous private Kannada news channels, has now moved away from news anchoring and entered the Tulu film industry.

He will be seen in a rare role in the much-anticipated film ‘Bana’, directed by Nithin Rai Kukkuvalli. Director Nithin Rai Kukkuvalli is well known in the Tulu film industry for creating a major sensation with films such as Dharma Daiva and Dharma Chavadi.

According to sources, most of the shooting for Bana has been completed, and Jayaprakash Shetty’s presence in the film has emerged as a special highlight. Earlier, Jayaprakash Shetty had also received an offer to participate in the reality show Bigg Boss. However, he had personally declined the offer, as he had stated in a Facebook post.

Fondly known as ‘JP’ among close circles, Jayaprakash Shetty participated in the film’s shoot for a total of six days. The shooting of Bana was largely carried out in and around Mangaluru and Puttur.
