Coastal Film Festival in Mangaluru to screen movies free of cost at Bharat Cinemas from Jan 19 to 21

Mangaluru, Jan 18: Movie lovers in Mangaluru will get a unique opportunity to watch several films free of cost at a theatre as part of the Coastal Film Festival being organised in the city.

The festival is being held as part of the Coastal Festival celebrations, jointly organised by the Karnataka Department of Tourism and the Tulu Film Producers’ Association. The Coastal Film Festival will take place on January 19, 20 and 21 at Bharat Cinemas, Mangaluru.

Advance tickets for the screenings will be available at the theatre counter from January 17 onwards. Film enthusiasts can collect tickets directly from the counter, and entry to all screenings will be completely free of cost.

The schedule for the first day of the festival, January 19, has been announced. The Tulu film ‘Yesa’ will be screened at 10 am, followed by the Tulu film ‘Chandikori’ at 1.30 pm. At 4.15 pm, the Konkani film ‘Fondacho Misther’ will be screened. The evening screening at 7 pm will feature the Tulu film ‘Oriyerd Ori Asal’, followed by the Kannada film ‘Su From So’ at 7.30 pm. The final screening of the day, the Tulu film ‘Raj Sounds & Lights’, will be held at 10.15 pm.
