Bangalore: No Question of Leaving BJP: Yeddy on Birthday

Daijiworld Media Network - Bangalore

Bangalore, Feb 27: Former chief minister of Karnataka and senior BJP leader Yeddyurappa, on the occasion of his 70th birthday, put an end to speculations that he might leave the party.

Several programmes were organised to celebrate his birthday in various places. After seeking blessings from Siddalinga Swamy at Tumkur in the morning, Yeddyurappa attended programmes organised by his partymen and supporters.

In his address during a function in Bangalore, he lashed out at the opposition for creating stories about him severing ties with the BJP. He also said, "The media can now keep quiet about the speculation, as I am not going to give you any sweet news as you wish. There is no question of leaving BJP," he announced.

"Opposition parties had predicted that I would keep quiet in my home after resigning from the CM post and then going to jail. But I will not take rest, I will tour the state to strengthen the party, and bring BJP to power during the next elections also. Indeed, the media and the opposition parties were waiting for my decision today to leave the party. But I am sorry to disappoint them."

Interestingly, throughout the speech he recalled his achievements as CM, but never once mentioned about the current CM Sadananda Gowda or his good works.

However, he did take an indirect dig at Sadananda Gowda and the speculation that he has been taking advice from JD(S) chief Deve Gowda.

"I never allowed the father and son duo (Deve Gowda and Kumaraswamy of JD(S)) to enter my Vidhana Soudha office during my tenure, but I know they have started entering it after my resignsation as CM. I would like to send a warning signlal to Deve Gowda and Kumaraswamy that I can play both defence and attack in politics, so do not try to underestimate me. You will never again come to power in Karnataka, the wholeof Karnataka knows about your dirty politics," he thundered.

"I will never to go to New Delhi to beg for CM's post. I expected CM's chair to be given back to me, as the BJP high command had promised me that within 4-6 months of my resignation I would be called back as CM. That's the only reason I was demanding the CM's post again."

He called upon the party supporters to back him even when he is not in power "It is easy to support someone who is in power, but you should support me even when I am not in power."

Also, indirectly hinting that he was backstabbed by those in his party, he asked his supporters to identify honest and dedicated workers in the BJP and support them.

"Beware of the backstabers within the party," he warned.

He also said that Karnataka had never before seen such immense development as during his tenure, and that only during his stint as CM even the poorest or poor benefited from various programmes and schemes undertaken by him.

No Question of leaving BJP : Yeddy. Good, That means BJP's headache will now turn to permanent incurable migraine!. I think more than opposition and media waiting for good news from Yeddy on his birthday it was actually the majority of BJP that was waiting for good news. Now in reality BJP is dissappointed because of the predictable migraine!

Onething is sure there can't be both true-either he is right or public are wrong or he is wrong and public are fools...but who will decide...becoming Gale ka haddi..for the nation.

Truth always wins ,Satyameva jayathe is our National Slogan .Truth is that B S Yedyurappa has got some Lands denotified to get the benifits to his Kith and Kin .He also doesnt denies it .Hon High Court of karnataka has given a verdict that Denotification itself is not a Criminal act and hence it granted Bail to BSY.Fact of the matter is so many CM s who have ruled before BSY also have done this act and hence we cannot silgle out him for this terming it as a Big Corruption ,Land Grabber etc etc
Hence we should see what positive BSY has done is enormous .He built the Karnataka BJP from Scratch seat no 1 to now 125 (aprox). He made state get Development growth of above 9% .He got first of its kind Agri Budget .He gave Bagyalaxmi Bonds for girl child .He started Free ambulance .He speeded up the distribution of BPL Cards .He gave free bicycles to highschool Children .He increased the no of Old age pesnion benificiaries .He started giving incentives to the Milk producers Many Many More .Long Live Yedyurappaji .You are my Hero and many more people like me

Can anybody stoop that low for the CM chair?
These are our new breed of leaders who believes only in ME, ME and ME.
Where are our selfless leaders? It is a leadership model that can, and should, be applied by anyone looking to take their team to greatness, selflessly and honorably.
    Here are the 10 Principles:
    1. Strive to be a leader of character, competence, and courage.
    2. Lead from the front. Say, “Follow me!” and then lead the way.
    3. Stay in top physical shape–physical stamina is the root of mental toughness.
    4. Develop your team. If you know your people, are fair in setting realistic goals and expectations, and lead by example, you will develop teamwork.
    5. Delegate responsibility to your subordinates and let them do their job. You can’t do a good job if you don’t have a chance to use your imagination and creativity.
    6. Anticipate problems and prepare to overcome obstacles. Don’t wait until you get to the top of the ridge and then make up your mind.
    7. Remain humble. Don’t worry about who receives the credit. Never let power or authority go to your head.
    8. Take a moment of self-reflection. Look at yourself in the mirror every night and ask yourself if you did your best.
    9. True satisfaction comes from getting the job done. They key to a successful leader is to earn respect–not because of rank or position, but because you are a leader of character.
    10. Hang Tough!–Never, ever, give up.
    Jai Hind!

Almost everyone expected Yeddy will resign to BJP and put Mr.Sadananda Gowda & Co.in trouble. But his decision to stay in party will make BJP stronger than before. Mr Yeddy is a corrupted politician but at this age(70years) also he works like a 17 years worker ! He can attract massive crowd. That is his strength.BJP High command knows that to fight with Deve Gowda, no one in the world will come forward except Mr.Yediyurappa. Because of him, today everything in karnataka is on standstill . His followers consisting of rapists, pornists, robbers, frauds, thieves, lootmars, have been at large in bringing him back to power for the simple reason, they can continue to make "masthi".
