Udupi, Feb 13: The prize distribution ceremony of Abharan Jewellery’s ‘Godali Sadagara 2025’ Christmas crib photo contest, organised by Daijiworld Udupi and Kishoo Enterprises, was held at The Originals Abharan Jewellery Silver Showroom on 9 February.

Satwik S Kamath and Veena Mahesh Kamath, directors of Abharan Jewellers; Walter Nandalike, founder and managing director of Daijiworld Media Private Limited; and Kishore Gonsalves, director of Kishoo Enterprises, were the chief guests of the programme.

Addressing the gathering, Walter Nandalike said, “Christmas is a celebration of one religion, yet it brings people together in unity. The support extended by Abharan Jewellers for such competitions reflects their strong bond with customers from all communities. Winning is only a formality, as every participant is truly a winner.”

Noel Lobo, Mother of God Church, Mogarnad, a participant, said, “During the Christmas season, when members of the Christian community traditionally prepare cribs, Daijiworld organised this competition, for which I am truly thankful. The crib represents the birth of Jesus Christ, and though we did not witness it, He has blessed us with talent, which was brought out through this platform. I am grateful to both Daijiworld and Abharan Jewellers.”

Vincent D’Souza, St Antony Church, Padukone, another participant, said, “When we think of cribs, the birth of Jesus Christ comes to our mind. Let us follow and spread His teachings.”

On the occasion, The Originals Abharan Jewellery felicitated Walter Nandalike for his contributions.

The winners were awarded cash prizes, trophies and certificates by the guests.

Thejesh J. Bangera welcomed the gathering and compered the event. Kevin Rodrigues, Operations Manager, Daijiworld Udupi; Dinesh Shettigar, Marketing Manager, Abharan Jewellers; and staff members of Abharan Jewellers and Daijiworld Udupi studio were also present.
