Kadaba, Feb 21: Following the drizzle reported in the night on Thurday in Kombarusiribagilu and Kaikamba areas of the taluk, and on Friday morning, yellow spots were noticed at places where the raindrops had fallen.

The rain at night had gone unnoticed by people. However, in the morning, yellow spots were seen on house courtyards, plants, and on clothes that had been left out to dry. After these spots dried, they appeared like yellow powder when removed with cotton.

When people checked in the surrounding areas as well, yellow stains were found. On learning about the matter, officials of the revenue department visited the spot and collected samples of the yellow-coloured substance. The report is yet to be received.
