Kuwait City, March 4: Kuwait's Ministry of Interior has announced an automatic one-month extension of all types of visit visas and a three-month additional absence permit for residents who are currently outside Kuwait, in light of the exceptional circumstances the country is experiencing.
In an official announcement, the ministry stated that the decision has been taken to facilitate matters for visitors and expatriates and to ensure they do not face legal consequences due to the prevailing situation.

All types of visit entry visas that have expired or are due to expire during the current circumstances will be extended for one month starting Saturday, February 28, 2026.
