Mangaluru: Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao inaugurates new Indira Canteen in Bajpe

Mangaluru, Mar 15: Dakshina Kannada district in-charge minister Dinesh Gundu Rao inaugurated the newly constructed Indira Canteen in Bajpe on March 14.

Addressing the gathering, the minister stated that the canteen was built to fulfill a long-standing demand of the local public. He emphasized that the primary objective of the government is to provide high-quality food in a clean environment at highly subsidized rates for the poor and common citizens.

He added that the opening of the Bajpe canteen is another significant step toward achieving a hunger-free society and confirmed that the facility is available for public service starting today.

Coastal Development Authority chairman M A Gafoor, Minimum Wages Advisory Board chairman T M Shahid, deputy commissioner Darshan H V, and Bajpe Town Panchayat president Lokesh Pujari were present on the occasion.
