Bantwal: Absconding accused arrested after 10 years

Bantwal, Mar 15: The Bantwal rural police have successfully arrested a man from Kerala who had been absconding for nearly a decade in connection with a local case.

The accused, identified as Prince T J Josh (43), a resident of Kuttinchal in Ernakulam district, was apprehended in Kuttampuzha. He was a warrant accused in a case registered under the Bantwal rural police station limits.

Following his arrest, the accused was produced before the Bantwal court, which subsequently remanded him to judicial custody.

The operation was carried out under the direction of Bantwal ASP Yash Kumar Sharma and the guidance of rural police station PSI Manjunath T. The team led by PSI Krishnakanth K, along with personnel Santosh and Shivananda Maddi, participated in the arrest.
