Severe headache would be due to some serious disease like bleeding with in the brain etc. Always take the child to Doctor when there is severe headache and do not treat with home remedies

Big tragody. Please keep all medicine out of reach to children. It could have easily avoided .When he had often acute head ache parents should have consulted a doctor and findout the reason.Headache due to sight problem?Long reading or concentrating on phones or real problem of some other disease? Had fever etc .Please dont neglect such symptoms from children.May be he had headache due to fall etc.Heartfelt sympathies to family. Some headache tablets are strong for children under such age.May the soul rest in peace.

@ Rita; some pain killers like ibuprofen/naproxen (NSAIDs) can cause acute gastritis & international bleeding, especially when taken on an empty stomach!

RIP! He might have taken some other tablet, which was the cause of acute pain & death! Never ask children to take medicine on their own, unless under adult supervision!
