Udupi: Police extern two individuals from district to maintain law and order

Udupi, Mar 27: In a decisive move to maintain law and order, the Udupi District police administration has issued externment orders against two individuals from different police station limits within the district.

The orders were issued on March 26 by the special executive magistrate and the superintendent of police, Udupi District.

The individuals externed are Mohammed Noufil, a resident of Surya Gudde, Kalathur, Kaup taluk, under the jurisdiction of Shirva police station, who has five criminal cases registered against him and a rowdy sheet opened at Shirva police station, and Suhan Poojary, a resident of Ashirwad (4-66), Malpe, Kodavoor village in Udupi taluk, with four criminal cases registered under Malpe police station limits.

As per the orders, Mohammed Noufil has been externed to the jurisdiction of Shiggaon police station in Haveri district, while Suhan Poojary has been externed to Yadgir Town police station limits in Yadgir district.

A police official stated, “The externments have been implemented to prevent further disturbances and to ensure public safety in the district.”
