Mangaluru, Apr 4: The third edition of the Moodluru-Adduru Jodukere Gurupura Kambala was inaugurated on Saturday, April 4, at Manibettu Guthu under the leadership of Kambala Committee president and KPCC general secretary Inayat Ali.
The Kambala was inaugurated by the priest of Kateel Sri Durgaparameshwari Temple, Anantha Padmanabha Asranna, who said, “Just as buffaloes are central to Kambala, spectators are equally important. Let us come together to support Kambala, which represents the identity and culture of Tulunadu.”
He also lauded Inayat Ali as a kind-hearted leader who treats all communities with respect and noted that through Kambala, he is showcasing the culture of Dakshina Kannada district at an international level.






During the inaugural function, Bantara Yane Nadavara Mathru Sangha president Ajith Rai Malady lit the lamp, observing that, under Inayat Ali’s leadership, the third-year Kambala is being conducted in a unique and special manner compared to other Kambalas.
The programme was presided over by Inayat Ali. On the occasion, financial assistance totalling Rs 25 lac was distributed for social causes, including marriage support and housing for needy families.
