Anand, Apr 5: Amul, owned by the Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), has crossed Rs 1 lakh crore in turnover for 2025-26, registering an 11 per cent growth over the previous financial year.
The federation said its total un-duplicated revenue rose from Rs 90,000 crore in 2024-25, while GCMMF reported a sales turnover of Rs 73,450 crore, up from Rs 65,911 crore a year earlier.
Operating through 18 district cooperative unions in Gujarat, the federation manages over 1,200 product packs and an extensive distribution network. It attributed the growth to product expansion and changing consumption patterns.

The milestone comes after Amul was ranked as the top cooperative by the International Cooperative Alliance.
During the year, the federation also expanded globally, launching fresh milk in Europe and the United States.
Union Minister Amit Shah had earlier launched the Sardar Patel Cooperative Dairy Federation Limited to integrate dairy cooperatives across the country under a national framework.
GCMMF chairman Ashokbhai Chaudhary said the growth reflects strong demand and the contribution of 36 lakh dairy farmers. Vice chairman Gordhanbhai Dhameliya said the figures highlight the strength of the cooperative model.
Managing director Dr Jayen Mehta said the federation is expanding globally while ensuring benefits reach producers, adding that it continues to connect farmers with markets through technology and trade.
GCMMF said it works with 3.6 million farmers, procures around 31 million litres of milk daily, and distributes over 24 billion packs annually across more than 50 countries.
