Mumbai, May 5: Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn has expressed support for efforts to curb financial crimes, saying he continues to feel connected to his role in Raid 2 even a year after its release.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the actor praised the work of the Enforcement Directorate and urged citizens to support the fight against financial wrongdoing. “I’ve taken the pledge for financial integrity. It’s time we stand together against financial crime. Are you with me? Let’s protect our nation!” he wrote.

The ED has recently carried out multiple high-profile raids across the country in connection with cases involving tax evasion and money laundering. Among them was a probe linked to the alleged Gain Bitcoin Ponzi scheme, in which businessman Raj Kundra was accused of involvement in transactions worth around Rs 150 crore tied to cryptocurrency investments. A special court has taken cognisance of the chargesheet and issued summons, citing prima facie evidence. Kundra later appeared in court and was granted bail while contesting the allegations.

The agency has also attached assets worth approximately Rs 97 crore as part of the ongoing investigation.

On the work front, Devgn is gearing up for his next film, Golmaal 5. The actor recently shared glimpses from the ongoing shoot in Ooty, featuring co-stars Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Sharman Joshi, Shreyas Talpade, and Kunal Kemmu.

Sharing a fun montage from the set, Devgn hinted at a bigger scale of entertainment in the upcoming installment, which continues the popular comedy franchise directed by Rohit Shetty.
