He expressed happiness over the establishment of the hospital and said the peaceful surroundings and noble vision behind the institution would bring comfort, healing and positivity to patients and visitors.
Chief guest Raghavendra S Bhat said Indian tradition teaches every individual to repay three important debts in life — the debt to parents and ancestors, the debt to teachers, and the debt to society through service to fellow human beings. He noted that meaningful life and social progress can be achieved only by fulfilling these responsibilities and appreciated institutions working for the welfare of society.
Special invitees Dr Harekala Hajabba, Corrine Rasquinha and K Narayana Master were present on the occasion.
Speaking at the function, Corrine Rasquinha said that God has placed medicine within nature itself and that Ayurveda continues to demonstrate the immense healing power of natural remedies. He added that modern advancements such as nanotechnology could further help harness nature’s gifts for better healthcare and wished the institution success in its future endeavours.
The hospital is led by managing director Shridevi Keshav Raj and chief medical consultant Dr Keshav Raj, who established the centre with the vision of providing affordable, effective and holistic healthcare to the people of the region.
On the occasion, Shridevi Keshav Raj and Dr Keshav Raj announced special community welfare initiatives as part of the hospital’s commitment to social service. Under the initiative, free Ayurvedic treatment will be provided to girls up to the age of 16 years and to one deserving family comprising three members. The initiative aims to ensure that quality healthcare reaches those who may otherwise find treatment unaffordable.
Vedamaayu Ayurveda Multispeciality Hospital combines traditional Ayurvedic wisdom with modern healthcare approaches to address contemporary health challenges. The 20-bed facility provides treatment services from 5 am to 10 pm, while its pharmacy remains open 24 hours a day throughout the week.
The hospital offers a wide range of Ayurvedic and wellness services, including Panchakarma therapies, Kerala therapies, Abhyanga, Basti, Shirodhara, Netra Tarpana, Udvartana, Ayurvedic massage, Nadi Pariksha, yoga, pranayama, wellness packages, and specialised treatments for diabetes, hypertension, joint pain, back pain, obesity, infertility, women’s health issues, mental health concerns, chronic diseases and age-related ailments.
With more than 15 years of experience in Ayurveda, Nadi Pariksha and Panchakarma treatments, Dr Keshav Raj has helped thousands of patients regain health and lead pain-free lives. The institution also plans to continue its social commitment through free medical camps and other community welfare initiatives.
