North Dakota, Jul 2: US President Donald Trump on Thursday claimed that a record number of ships were leaving the Strait of Hormuz and described communism as the "greatest threat" while addressing a gathering during the dedication of the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library in North Dakota.
Trump arrived at the venue aboard the "Freedom 250 Train" and delivered his remarks in front of Spanish-American War reenactors assembled for the event.
Speaking on global developments, the US President claimed that vessel traffic through the Strait of Hormuz was seeing unprecedented movement, though he did not provide evidence to support the assertion.

He also described communism as the "greatest threat", reiterating his longstanding criticism of communist ideology during the speech.
The event marked the dedication of the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library, honouring the 26th President of the United States.
