Mangaluru: Srinivas University organises HR-based contest ‘HR Maestro’

Mangaluru, Aug 22: Srinivas University, BCom Department, Management Forum organised ‘HR Maestro’ an HR-based competition, on August 11. The event was conducted to enhance students’ knowledge of human resource management and develop their practical, analytical, communication, and decision-making skills. A total of 110 students participated in the competition with great enthusiasm and active involvement. The competition consisted of three rounds.

The first round, HR quiz, tested participants’ knowledge of various HR concepts and practices. The second round, resume preparation, focused on developing students’ ability to create a professional and well-structured resume. The third round, case study analysis, assessed their ability to identify HR problems, analyse situations, and suggest appropriate solutions.

The 3rd round, case study analysis, was evaluated by the esteemed judges, Dr Kavya Shree and Dr Nikishitha from the MBA department. Their expertise and valuable feedback contributed to a fair, insightful, and meaningful evaluation of the participants.

The event provided students with an opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to practical HR situations. It also helped improve their problem-solving ability, creativity, confidence, teamwork, communication, and employability skills.

The competition was conducted successfully with the active participation and enthusiasm of all students. Overall, HR Maestro served as an effective platform for students to explore and demonstrate their HR knowledge and professional skills.
