Dubai, Apr 19: Silvy Coutinho and Rithesh Penha, both hailing from Mangalore, emerged as winners of 'Ballroom dance competition' organized by FDSC Dubai at Metropolitan Palace, here.
Silvy Coutinho is the daughter of Latha and late Anthony Coutinho and is married to Rithesh Rosario Penha. Born at Padil, Mangalore, Silvy is currently employed with CMA CGM & ANL LLC, here.
Rithesh Rosario Penha, son of Richard and Natalia Penha, was born in Jeppu-Valencia, Mangalore and is currently working at DPS School, Jebel Ali.
Silvy began dancing at the age of five and has been performing for Ocean Kids group for the past 10 years. She has won numerous awards since she started dancing, including first prize at the state-level dance competition in 2002 in Mangalore, Dubai 'Nach Baliye-4 title' 2009, best dancer 'Just Dance Middle East' 2011. Silvy has been crowned champion in 'Ballroom Dance Competition'.
Rithesh began dancing at the age of seven and has been a member of Ocean Kids dance group for the past 11 years. He has won several dance contests including one's at Famad competition in 2007, ‘Nach Nach’ which was held at Indian High School, Dubai, 'Nach Baliye 2010' and now 'Ballroom Dance competition'.
