Mumbai, Apr 26 (IANS): Theatre doyenne Zohra Sehgal turns 100 Friday and Amitabh Bachchan has wished her good health. Big B says he knows her since he was a child and admires her child like enthusiasm even at this age.

"Recently, I saw her (Zohra Sehgal) working in several films and I liked her enthusiasm and awareness. In 'Cheeni Kum', she played the character of my mother. She is very child-like," the 69-year-old said here at a press conference.

Big B also extended best wishes to Zohra on behalf of the entire film industry.

"Zohra Sehgal is all set to celebrate her 100th birthday. I wish her good health on behalf of my family and the entire film industry on this auspicious occasion," said the megastar.

Recalling how he met her as a child when she visited Allahabad, he said: "My family has a special relationship with Zohra Sehgal. Zohraji used to work with Prithvi Raj Kapoor in Prithvi theatres. Prithvi Raj Kapoor had cordial relationship with my father and whenever Prithvi group visited Allahabad, we used to meet Zohraji."
