Mumbai, Apr 27: Kirtiraj K Salian, chairman, Mogaveer Co-operative Bank, was nominated as member of the executive committee of Brahanmumbai Nagari Sahakari Banks’ Association, recently. It’s significant that the Association recognized the efficiency of Kirtiraj in achieving steady financial growth in just seven years by heading Mogaveer Co-operative Bank.
Kirtiraj has already made his mark as a leader of the Mogaveer community. His father, the late K K Salian led Mogaveer Vyavastapak Mandali and Mogaveer Co-operative Bank and Kirtiraj is following in the footsteps of his father.
Kirtiraj has done BE in mechanical engineering from the erstwhile Karnataka Regional Engineering College, Suratkal, Mangalore, and set up his enterprise—Shakti Aqua Farms Limited—and emerged a successful entrepreneur.
He is instrumental in upgrading Mogaveer Co-operative Bank to ‘A’ grade. Kirtiraj has social concern and contributes his time and energy for this cause. He also formed part of the Indian delegation in the ‘Entrepreneurs Summit’ held in Japan in 1997. He is known for leadership qualities and successful entrepreneurship both in India and overseas.
