Kundapur, May 12: Following the people’s grievance on infeasibility of building an embankment at Shastry Circle here, which would divide the city, and instead build a flyover for smoother traffic, National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) senior officer A A Mathur and team arrived on Friday May 11 to find a solution to the issue.

NHAI senior officer A A Mathur held discussions with the citizens at Circuit House on Friday in the presence of Rajya Sabha member Oscar Fernandes, MP K Jayaprakash Hegde, MLC K Pratapchandra Shetty, and local leaders in this regard.

He also gathered information on the progress of ongoing four-lane conversion work and compensations awarded for land acquisition. He said that a report will be submitted to the land and surface department.

Town councilor Devaki Sannayya, Shyamala Bhandary, Kenchanur Somashekar Shetty, Shivaram Shetty Malyady, Jacob D’Souza, Abhinandan Shetty, and Vikas Hegde were present on the occasion.

    Great… something is happening!!

Modern-fly-over-bridge is the first promise of our newly elected MP for his own city. Along with the over bridge also promised us to ratify the degraded Kundapura Railway Station, Anagalli & Kodi Bridges issues on priority basis.

Let's see how things are materialize!! Hope these are very from the point of view of his political carrier too. There is not much time to face another election. Good Luck!!
