Winona Ryder in Talks for 'Beetlejuice' Sequel

Toronto, Sep 16 (IANS): Actress Winona Ryder has revealed she is in talks with director Tim Burton for the sequel of 1988 comedy horror "Beetlejuice".

"I heard (about the sequel) from journalists, that's how I found out, but I'm seeing Tim next week, and I will let you know," Ryder said at the Toronto International Film Festival.

"I'm trying to think about how that would work. Obviously I'm not (the focal point), it's got to be Michael (Keaton). So is it happening? It's being written, but is it happening? Tim hasn't confirmed it (officially) yet," she added.

The film's stars Keaton and Geena Davis have urged Burton to start work on a follow-up and he had said he will make it only if he finds a good script, reports express.co.uk
