Riyadh, Oct 6: ‘Family Get-Together-2012’ under the campaign of ‘Roof-to-Read’ will be conducted by Panorama-Riyadh Unit on Thursday October 11, 2012 at Al-Rushd resort in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for a noble cause.
Panorama, comprises of Padubidrians from Udupi district of Karnataka state. Panorama, being a non-profit organization working relentlessly for the educational facilities and betterments, has been in existence since more than six years in Riyadh and Dammam-Khobar.
The key objective of the organization is to provide new facilities to school. Urdu school is nearly a century old school situated at Padubidri. However, with the passage of time, the school was getting dilapidated and worst in condition exposing a potential risk of collapse at any moment. This alarming situation made the members of Panorama to take up a great responsibility at this critical juncture to build a new school building to replace the old one. The one phase of the building is already complete and the second phase is now underway to be completed with the help of generous donors and philanthropists in the kingdom. The get-together is organized to highlight the objective and to make it reachable to the audience.
"We are expecting huge gathering in the get-together as the message is widely spread amongst the Mangaloreans and others alike in the kingdom; We will have a variety of programs like cricket, volleyball, quiz, children's game, breaking the pot, bread magic, gunny bag race for children, children's workshop etc in the get-together", the organizing committee said in the press release.
"We are trying our level best to offer our utmost pins and needles to give a colorful and different unique touch to the get-together so as to see our key objective of the gathering to be achieved fruitfully'', they said.
P A Hameed Padubidri, president of Panorama Riyadh, Abdul Rahiman Hussain, Abdul Khader, ex-presidents; Abubacker (Raisco), Niyaz Ismail P K, Sarfraz A H, Mohammed Rafeek Ismail and others were present in the press conference.
