Dubai, Jun 12: Keeping pace with technology, the first ever webserial is all set to be premeried on daijiworld.com soon. Vincent Fernandes of Mogachin Lahran fame, who has attempted innovative things in the field of media, has now forayed into making video serials exclusviely for readers of daijiworld.

“Lisanvaanchi Lahran' (Waves of Knowledge) will be an experiment of 12 episodes based on fiction written and directed by Vincent himself.

"I have already completed two episodes, and by August I will be able to complete maximum number of episodes. Priority has given to local talents of UAE as we have a number of acting talents on stage. Now its a time to bring their theatre skills to digital screen," says Vincent Fernandes, who expects his new innovation to be a hit.

According to Vincent, the serial “Lisanvaachi Lahran” will consist of individual episodes of moral stories revolving around our present world. Through this serial, Vincent wishes to spread practical knowledge and virtues required to live in today’s modern world.

The concept/story/screenplay/dialogues are all written by Vincent Fernandes. Direction is by Ashwath Samuel, who has directed mega projects including the latest Tulu movie “Nirel”. Shot by the most reliable movie cameraman, Mani and his team, this serial promises to deliver a high quality viewing experience.

The cast of the serial includes well-known and talented actors from the Konkani community such as Richard Saldanha, Juliana Saldanha, Victor Almeida, Anil Pinto, Vincent Fernandes, Joseph Mathias, Sheela Carlo, Vincent D’Silva, Roy Vijay D’Silva, Lavina, Glena Miranda, Pravin Rodrigues, Oswald D’Souza, Preema D’Souza, Janet D’souza, etc and renowned Tulu actors like Chidananda Poojary and Jagath Pal. 

The serial promises to provide wholesome entertainment with an equal balance of comedy and moral messages. The music for the title song has been composed by the  talented music director Ramiro Mascarenhas from Goa and has been sung by Preema D’Souza and “Gulf Voice of Mangalore 2010” Ivan Fernandes. The serial has been shot in different locations in the United Arab Emirates.

“Lisanvaachi Lahran”  Vincent has put in all his efforts, talent and experience into the production of this serial and has left no stone unturned in working towards giving the best to his audience. It is his ardent desire to convey moral messages through this serial and to see his serial reach the multitude of Konkani lovers all over the world.  He requests the encouragement and love of Konkani people by viewing his serial and supporting his cause.

"The success of webserial may lead to TV serial. Initially, for experiment purpose it will be only in Konkani. There are plans to give English subtitles, and later we are planning to dub the serials in Tulu and Kannada," he says.

Vincent Fernandes, Cascia started his musical journey as a dancer and went on to excel as a state level dancer.  He then started writing and composing tunes for his lyrics. Under his famous banner “Mogachi Lahran” (meaning Waves of Love) he has been composing lyrics/tunes in Konkani, Kannada, Tulu and Hindi which have become  popular and an instant hit with their catchy tunes. 

Under the banner of ‘Mogachi Lahran’, Vincent has always encouraged new talent, especially the new generation to sing in Konkani and dance to the same.  He has released 9 volumes of music albums till date and is currently working on compiling his 10th volume – ‘Best of Mogachi Lahran’.
