Delhi grievance cell receives graft complaints in Tihar jail


New Delhi, Feb 27 (IANS): The grievance redressal cell started by the Arvind Kejriwal government has received several complaints of corruption inside Tihar jail, which have been forwarded to the prison authorities, Tihar jail's Director General Vimla Mehra said Thursday.

"We have received several complaints about corruption within the jail, which were reported to the grievance redressal cell by the families of the inmates," Vimla Mehra told IANS.

According to the officials, till now 25 such complaints have been forwarded to them by the grievance cell.
