Shekhar Poojary, general manager of Bharath Bank retires

Mumbai, June 3: Shekhar Poojary who was working as the general manager of Bharath Bank at the head office retired on Saturday May 31 after fifteen years of meritorious service. He had worked at L&T Institute of Technology as a professor for fifteen years prior to
joining the bank.

After working at the bank as an assistant general manager and deputy general manager serving at the technology and development
department, he was presently the head of law and recovery department. As he mastered the art of teaching, he was active in the Billavara association and held workshops on human resources.


Being a resident of Miyar by origin, he was well known for his sincerity at work. The send off ceremony was held on Saturday May 31 at
the head office of the bank under the leadership of C R Mulki, managing director and CEO of the bank. He felicitated Shekhar Poojary
with a shawl, fruits, flowers and a memento. Speaking on the occasion he said that Shekhar Poojary has become successful in his service due to the sincerity, discipline and straight forward talk.

Anil Kumar R Amin, chief general manager, Dinesh B Salian head of the department of human resources, deputy general managers Suresh Salian, Raghu Poojary, Shobha Dayanand, V S Shanbhag, Nityananda D Kotian, assistant general managers Vidyananda Karkera, Mohandas Hejmadi, Kishore Kotian, Vishwanath Suvarna, Vasudev M Salian, Senior officials of the bank and staff were present.

Office bearers of Bharath Bank Employees Union, Officer's Association and Staff Welfare Club presented a bouquet to Shekhar Poojary and wished him well.

Speaking on the occasion, Shekhar Poojary said that if the work is done properly after careful thinking, there will be rewards. He
expressed gratitude to the management and staff for having felicitated him and for their cooperation during the period of his service.
