Mumbai, Jul 18: The Western Railway services between Lower Parel and Bandra were once again suspended for around 50 minutes on Monday after a telephone call that a bomb had been placed at Dadar station.

However, it turned out to be a hoax.

Western Railway Chief PRO Prannay Prabhakar told UNI that they received a call at 1625 hrs stating that a bomb had been placed at Dadar station.

Immediately, the train services between Lower Parel and Bandra were stopped as the Bomb Disposal Squad along with the Dog squad searched the entire Dadar station. After the station was declared safe.

Train services resumed at 1715 hrs, Prabhakar said.

The Western Railway had been rocked by serial bomb blasts in the local trains on July 11 killing 190 people and injuring over 700.
