Mangalore, Aug 4: The interactive meeting on ‘Business Climate in Mangalore and Opportunities for US Participation’, was held on Thursday August 3, at the 'Meeting Hall' at KCCI Exim Facilitation Centre in the Chamber Building at Bunder here.
Addressing the meet Mark Russel, American consulate general, informed that nearly 10,000 US companies have already invested in India. He said that the city is rapidly growing to be the next most investment friendly city in the state, after Bangalore.
The concept of US Commercial Service was introduced by Leonard Roberts, commercial specialist and office director of US commerce service in Bangalore, at the meet. This concept will enable the Indian businessmen to source American products, and introduce their company to several qualified companies in the US.
Also present at the meet were A Srinivas Rao, KCCI president, Santhosh D’Souza, treasurer, Capt John Prasad Menezes, Shekhara Pujari and M Padmanabha Kamath.
