Three killed in Pakistan roadside bomb explosion


Islamabad, Aug 4 (IANS): At least three people, including a politician belonging to former cricketer Imran Khan's party, were killed Monday in a roadside bomb explosion in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

Former provincial election candidate for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) member Faqir Jamshed was among those killed in the explosion, Dawn online reported.

The explosion occurred when Jamshed's vehicle drove over the explosive in Dera Ismail Khan's Kulachi area.
