Dubai, Sep 6: In a tragic accident Vinod Adapa, (42-years) hailing from Madyar, Kotekar, Mangalore met his death when he was hit by speeding vehicle driven by an Arab National.

During the accident Vinod was travelling in a mini bus sitting on the rear seat when the reckless driver collided from behind killing Adapa and injuring other three Indians seriously.

The accident occurred last night (05.Sept.) on the Dubai- Sharjah Highway near Sahara Centre.

A four wheel which was speeding lost control and hit the lamppost and two cars parked behind them and finally banged the mini bus. The impact was so strong that Adappa died on the spot and several of his colleagues were hurt badly.

Adapa, working as a supervisor for Petron Fabrication  Al Quoz,Dubai and was planning his holidays in India and was due was to proceed on leave on 8th September.

"He was so happy to join his family back home, his wife, mother and all family members. He was excited to visit his native place and was repeatedly mentioning about his forthcoming holiday plans..It is just unbelievable to hear this news" said a close relative of Adapa to Daijiworld.

Adappa's body is being kept in Kuwait  Hospital, Sharjah. Petron Fabrications, Adapa's company is speeding-up the procedures to forward the mortal remains to Mangalore.
