Sunny Saturday morning in Delhi


New Delhi, March 7 (IANS): It was a bright and sunny Saturday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 12.5 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average.

The Met Office has, however, forecast a partly overcast day ahead with spells of rain in some parts of the national capital.

"It was a sunny morning in the national capital but the day ahead is likely to be partly overcast and rainfall is expected," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.

The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 26 degrees Celsius.

Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 91 percent.

Friday's maximum temperature was recorded at 27.3 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average and the minimum temperature settled at 14 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.
