Udupi, Mar 9: "We are contemplating on pressuring government through State Women's Commissioner to hand-over the Sucheta Shetty murder case to CBI for enquiry," said district Women's Congress president Veronica Cornelio.
Speaking at a press conference here on Thursday March 8 she said that it is quite painful to know that nothing was achieved in nabbing the accused in the case even after CoD enquiry. "The plight of the family is still worse. After all these years, they still do not as who was responsible for the murder of their beloved one. They hoped that CoD enquiry would throw light on the entire episode. But now that it has been proven wrong, their suffering continues," she opined.
She further elaborated that it would be better that case is handed over to CBI for probe so that justice is done and accused are suitable punished.
