Dubai, March 18: UAE Pernalites have announced their 5th anniversary celebrations which will be held on Friday, 18 May at the Emirates Engligh-Speaking auditorium.  Dony Correa, cultural programme coordinator for 'Famad Pernal', the parish organisation for Pernal told us.

The event, he said will include a couple dance competition and a famous Tulu play which will be performed by members of the organisation. The parishioners will organise a string of other entertainment programmes in the event, he told us.

Famad Pernal is one of the exuberant parish organisations in the UAE with more than 150 members under its mantle. They have organised various events but they are better known for their talented cultural performers ' Pokri Pernal' who have performed in various events and have won many prizes for the team.
