Dubai, Apr 28: Emirates Putturians observed a day of fun-filled activities in Almas Apartments hall earlier during the week.

Antony Mascarenhas welcomed the gathering and briefed about activities. Secretary Deena Coelho anchored the string of events.

Games were organized by Nirmala Madtha to the cheers from the audience. Children had a due share of fun with games like colouring the elephant, tearing out the longest tail from a piece of paper etc.

Games like pasting bindis on the face within a given time – for bachelors, searching missing sandals – for couples etc., were enjoyed by everyone.  Dance sequence by Suraj and Ancil, filmy dance by Praveen, Pramod, Ancil, Lidia and Jyothi added further colour to the whole occasion. 

Vice president Alex Gonsalves gave away the prizes to the winners. Lunch was provided by Leo of Canara Restaurant.

Antony hailed the co-operation of Gilbert, Kiran, Walter, Valerian and Nirmala for the success of the event.

DJ Austin kept the gathering enthalled with non-stop music at the end of the programme.
