New education policy: CBSE seeks students' feedback

New Delhi, Sep 29 (IANS): The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has sought online comments from students for making recommendation to the draft of new education policy which is likely to come out by the year-end.

"We value our students' feedback and will take it into account when making recommendation for substantial improvements in the teaching-learning environment of schools," the CBSE stated on its website.

The CBSE, an autonomous organisation under the Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD), has put up 28 questions and "the first 22 are to be responded by students of classes VI to XII, while the next three are specific for classes IX to XII".

Only students of classes XI to XII are required to fill questions 26 to 28.

Responses can be registered on or before October 5, showed the website whose link was shared by HRD Minister Smriti Irani in her tweet.

On September 26, Irani had said the draft of the new education policy would be released by December.

Thanks madam to allow the students also to give their feedback. I want that their should be given equality to both students studying both by schooling and non schooling methods coz the students studying in non schooling methods gets sufficient time for both their academic and competitive exams but the students going to school do not get equal time for the so and so it should be made that all students go to school or all should not. And the other thing is that in competitive exams theoretical and practical part should also be their coz many students just by heart all the mcq's possible and no basic things are clear and one more thing is that in physics more and more universe part should be their and in all the subject more and more parts of practical knowledge based studies should be their and cce should be firstly removed and from starting only in final exams full book should be asked. So these are my thoughts and I think that you should also imply on this policy seriously.

examnition should be held once in a year . Students should not be given pressure by the teacher . Teacher should give simpathy and extension to the students.
